TecRadon is an Engineering, Procurement & Construction company with specialisation in execution of projects of various types of Large Diameter Bulk Liquid Storage Tanks on lumpsum Turnkey Basis, Industrial Plant Piping & Pipe Spooling, Equipment Erection, Fabrication and Erection of Structural Steel in Industries /Sectors like Oil & Gas, Fertilizer, Power, Minerals and Metal, Chemical and Petrochemical in the MiddleEast and Persian Gulf. TecRadon’s Supply Chain Management handles all Procurement related activities including long term partnership & strategic procurement efficiently and ensures timely deliveries to the Projects.

TecRadon offers end-to-end supply chain management Services for various clients. The services include contracts and purchase, inspection, expediting, transportation as well as supplier/contractor enlistment. We have vast expertise in global procurement through excellent manpower, procedures, rules and policies ably supported by an extensive data base with vast information on global suppliers and contractors from all over world.

Public Procurement has three vital components, i.e., transparency, equity and fairness. Public Procurement of TecRadon is intended to procure works, material and services of the specified quality within the specified time at the most competitive price in a fair, just and transparent manner. We adopt latest IT tools/technologies for enhancing the efficiency, effectiveness and transparency of its procurement processes. Over the years, all procurement functions have been IT enabled- from the receipt of an indent up to Inspection, Dispatch and transportation of the equipment. In addition, we have an integrated in-house ERP and EDMS application linking all procurement functions across various geographical locations. Our inspection services aim at ensuring timely supply of material and equipment of the specified quality and meeting specification requirements for various projects of our clients.

We have a data bank of over 1500 vendors and over 450 contractors in various construction categories. Performance of suppliers and contractors are reviewed periodically (“supplier/ contractor registration“). TecRadon provides services for custom clearance and transportation planning and control of equipment to be dispatched to various project sites. The services include arranging shipment of equipments/materials, contract registration with customs, assessment of custom duty and clearance, insurance and transportation to site. Route surveys are conducted for movement of over dimensional consignments and decisions for route with least obstacles are taken accordingly.

B. PURCHASING

Having established that purchasing is a part of the overall procurement process; we at TecRadon follow an intricate 3-stage process: Sourcing stage, a Purchasing stage and a Payment stage.
The Sourcing stage comprises of:

  • 1. Identifying the need of what is required by the customer
  • 2. Creating a purchase requisition and comparative analysis of products and costs involved;
  • 3. Selecting a vendor after assessment.

The Purchasing stage comprises of:

  • 1. Request for Quotation
  • 2. Negotiating the terms, raising the Purchase Order (PO)
  • 3. Shipping and Receiving the Goods.

The Payment stage involves

  • 1. Three-way matching – PO, received goods and invoice
  • 2. Invoice approval and payment
  • 3. Updating or records for audit and future reference
